Location, directions and public parking

Minnesota Department of Administration offices are located primarily in two buildings near the State Capitol. The Administration Building, 50 Sherburne Avenue, is northeast of the Capitol on the corner of Sherburne Avenue and Cedar Street. The Centennial Office Building is east of the Capitol at 658 Cedar Street.

Parking

Public parking is available at meters on Cedar Street and Sherburne Avenue, at meters in State Parking Lot Q (northeast corner of Cedar and Sherburne) and in the orange level of the Central Park ramp east of the Centennial Office Building. The ramp entrance is on the south side of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, east of Cedar Street.

Directions

From the east:

From Interstate Highway 94 westbound, exit at Marion Street and make a right turn on Marion. Traveling north on Marion Street, turn right on University Avenue. Traveling east on University Avenue, turn left on Capitol Boulevard. Traveling north on Capitol Boulevard, turn right at Sherburne Avenue. Traveling east on Sherburne Avenue, cross Cedar Street and enter State Parking Lot Q. Public parking is permitted only at the meters (2-hour limit).

From the west:

From Interstate Highway 94 eastbound, exit at 10th Street. Traveling east on 10th Street, turn left at Cedar Street. Traveling north on Cedar Street, turn right at Sherburne Avenue and enter State Parking Lot Q. Public parking is permitted only at the meters (2-hour limit).

From the north:

From Interstate Highway 35E southbound, exit at University Avenue, turning right on University. Traveling west on University Avenue, turn right on Capitol Boulevard. Traveling north on Capitol Boulevard, turn right on Sherburne Avenue. Traveling east on Sherburne, cross Cedar Street and enter State Parking Lot Q. Public parking is permitted only at the meters (2-hour limit).

From the south:

From Interstate Highway 35E:

From Interstate Highway 35E northbound, exit at Kellogg Boulevard, turning left at Kellogg. Traveling north on Kellogg, turn right at John Ireland Boulevard. Traveling east on John Ireland, turn left at Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Traveling north on Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, turn right at Sherburne Avenue. Traveling east on Sherburne, cross Cedar Street and enter State Parking Lot Q. Public parking is permitted only at the meters (2-hour limit).

From Highway 52:

From Highway 52/Lafayette Freeway northbound, continue north onto Lafayette Road. Traveling north on Lafayette Road, turn left on University Avenue. Traveling west on University Avenue, turn right on Capitol Boulevard. Traveling north on Capitol Boulevard, turn right on Sherburne Avenue. Traveling east on Sherburne, cross Cedar Street and enter State Parking Lot Q. Public parking is permitted only at the meters (2-hour limit).
