General |
- Metropass
Bus Program is available to state and legislative employees
who work in buildings under PMD custodial control.
- Employees
may participate in the Metropass Bus Program by obtaining a
Metropass Bus Card.
- Bus
card sign-up is administered by PMD.
- Subsidized
bus pass program
|

Metropass Bus Card |
- Non-transferable
picture identification bus card
- Used
for unrestricted bus rides on any regional bus route
- Valid
for one year from the program start date
- Used
for peak, express and downtown zone fares

Cost (Fiscal Year 12) (New rates effective August 1, 2010) |
- State
employees: $20.77 per bi-weekly pay period
- State
employees are typically covered through a pre-tax payroll deduction.
- Non-payroll
deduction legislative employees: $45.00 monthly

Please
note that daily between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., and after
4:15 p.m., there are large volumes of customers in the store.
For faster service, please visit during off-peak service
hours.

Sign-up Process |
- Visit
the PMD office in Administration Building Room G-10 between 7:00 AM and 4:30 PM to fill out an application.
- A
temporary pass will be issued to you until you have your picture
taken.
- A
permanent pass will be issued within one month of having your
picture taken.
- PMD
will contact you when the permanent pass arrives.

Cancellation |
- Stop
by the PMD office in Administration Building Room G-10 to cancel
your Metropass card.
- Metropass
card must be turned in before cancellation is made.
