PMD performs the following scheduled housekeeping services to maintain your office space and the building common areas:

Office Cleaning Restroom Sanitation
Hard Surface Floor Care—Common Areas Lobby and Entrance
Hard Surface Floor Care—Work Areas Miscellaneous Cleaning

Office Cleaning
Daily
  • Empty all trash receptacles, and replace liners as needed
  • Vacuum carpeted main traffic aisles, moving furniture as needed
  • Pick up all litter in the remaining carpeted areas
  • Return furniture to original position
  • Spot clean the carpeting
  • Spot clean partitions and door glass
Weekly
  • Vacuum all carpeted areas thoroughly
  • Dust mop hard surface main traffic aisles
  • Dust all exposed areas on desks, credenzas, and work surfaces
  • Dust mop hard surface areas thoroughly
  • Wet mop hard surface areas thoroughly
  • Detail dust all accessible furniture
  • Dust window sills, radiators, etc. (below six feet)
  • Spot clean walls and doors with special emphasis around the coffee areas and light switches
As Needed
  • Empty all recycling bins
Semi-annually
  • Clean all door frames
  • Sanitize trash receptacles
  • Dust accessible exterior window blinds, where applicable
  • Clean ceiling vents (under 12 feet)
  • Vacuum upholstered furniture
  • Clean all carpeted traffic aisles
Annually
  • Clean carpet; may be extraction, tip cleaning, or rotary shampooing
Note: Detail dusting in an office setting will be done only in accessible areas. PMD will not move personal items and electronic equipment to clean or dust. PMD will trash only waste receptacles and items marked, trash.

Lobby and Entrance Cleaning
Daily
  • Empty and spot clean all trash receptacles
  • Sweep all hard surface floors
  • Wet mop all hard surface floors
  • Clean all walk off mats
  • Clean all door glass and spot clean all adjacent glass
  • Vacuum all carpet thoroughly
  • Clean entire interior and exterior of elevators
  • Sweep, vacuum or wet mop all open stairways
  • Clean and sanitize all public pay telephones
  • Check and spot clean all directories
  • Check, arrange and spot clean all public area furniture
  • Clean kick plates and door frames as needed
  • Spot clean walls
Weekly
  • Detail dust all areas below six feet
  • Spot clean all plate glass windows
  • Clean and polish all stairway handrails
  • Clean all thresholds
As Needed
  • Scrub and coat all hard surface floors
  • Strip, seal and finish all hard surface floors
  • Buff/burnish all accessible hard surface floors
  • Clean all carpet

Daily
  • Dust mop wall to wall
  • Spot mop all spills and splashes
Weekly
  • Wet mop and auto scrub all floor surfaces
  • Buff/burnish all floors
As Needed
  • Heavy scrub and re-coat floor finish
  • Strip, seal and finish hard surface floors
Hard Surface Floor Care—Work Areas
Daily
  • Dust mop all accessible areas
  • Wet mop all other areas
Weekly
  • Dust mop wall to wall
  • Wet mop and auto scrub wall to wall
  • Buff/burnish all accessible floor areas
As Needed
  • Heavy scrub and re-coat floors
  • Strip, seal and finish

Restroom Sanitation
Daily
  • Check and re-supply all stock
  • Clean stock dispenser
  • Empty all trash, including sanitary disposal units and clean receptacles
  • Clean and sanitize all toilets, sinks and urinals
  • Clean all stainless steel and chrome
  • Wet mop floor with sanitizing detergent
  • Clean all interior glass and mirror(s)
  • Spot clean doors on both sides
  • Spot clean walls with special emphasis around dispensers, sinks and urinals
Monthly
  • Machine scrub floors
  • Sanitize all waste receptacles
Annually
  • Wash and sanitize all partitions
Miscellaneous Cleaning
Daily
  • Sanitize all drinking fountains
  • Police all interior stairwells
  • Remove all unapproved posters or outdated posters/bulletins
Weekly
  • Dust all hallway fixtures; i.e., pictures and fire extinguishers
As Needed
  • Wet mop all hard surface stairwell risers and landings
  • Clean ceiling light diffusers and exhaust fans in elevator cars
  • Clean electrical and janitorial closets; damp mop hard surface flooring and clean baseboards and walls
  • Dust stairwell railings
