Electric Rebates
 

Cooling Efficiency

  • Packaged terminal air conditioners
  • Condensers

  • Heat pumps
  • Rooftop units

  • Variable air volume boxes
  • Chillers

  • Split systems
  • Oversized cooling towers
 

Lighting Efficiency

  • Fluorescent T-8 and Super T-8 lamps with electronic ballasts
  • Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium fixtures

  • Fluorescent T-5 lamps with electronic ballasts
  • Occupancy sensors

  • Compact fluorescent lamps
  • LED exit signs
 

Motor Efficiency

  • Energy efficient motors meeting minimum efficiency of utility (often NEMA Premium Efficiency)
  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
 

Refrigeration Efficiency

  • High-efficiency compressors
  • Refrigeration system replacement

  • Low-power condenser fans

Energy Study/Design Assistance
 

Some utilities offer design assistance programs or funding available to help pay for engineering studies.

Custom Rebates
 

Many utilities offer custom rebates for energy efficiency measures that are not covered by their standard prescriptive programs. 

Rebates for custom applications may require the utility’s approval prior to procurement or construction start.

Custom rebates may include:

 
  • Energy Management Systems (EMS)
  • New HVAC equipment with higher energy efficiencies than standard equipment

  • Transformers

  • Air-cooled chillers
