Risk Management Division operates Minnesota state government’s insurance program and manages the state workers’ compensation and safety programs. Risk Management insures state vehicles for auto liability and auto physical damage and most state agencies for property and general liability. The division also serves the needs of state employees and agencies for full-service workers’ compensation insurance, including disability management, return-to-work, and legal services. Risk Management also provides safety, loss control, risk, and insurance management consulting services to state agencies.
